Now this is a case where this guy was genuinely lucky to be alive. However, he does the god thing and says god was with him. Which part was god with him? The part where the bear came after him? The part where it was "eating his brains"? Or just the very end to make sure he suffered but didn't die? God wasn't with you. If he was, then maybe life wouldn't have sucked for those moments during and after the bear attack. If he had been with you and really protected you, then maybe you wouldn't have been mauled. What you are essentially saying is that god let me be mauled but not killed. What a nice god.
