Bill Clinton, Barack Obama, and John McCain

Alright, after much deliberation and thinking, I have decided to endorse a candidate in each party. One, I really like, one I used to like, but can learn to live with now as president. But before that, I would like to say what needs to be said to Bill Clinton. Shut the hell up! Christ! What is wrong with you? If your wife wins, its won't look like she can do it with out you. You aren't helping her out any. But if she doesn't win, you are causing damage to the democratic parties election cause! Especially if Barack Obama wins, you are hurting his chances especially! Can't you see that? Aren't you smart enough to get that what you are doing can and will have lasting negative effects on the democratic party? Wake up Bill and smell the roses! And while your doing that, shut up and leave the debating and fighting to the candidates!

Fine, I'm good now, really. So for the democratic nomination, I endorse Barack Obama. He is by far the best leader among the other candidates. He is charismatic, goal oriented, and knows how to speak to people. He IS the great uniter and I am rooting for him to win in the general election. Far from the cantankerous Hillary Clinton, he has found ways to inspire people and motivate people to change. He has a plan for Iraq, one that involves something without dying. He has plans for health care, ones that don't involve me giving up mine. And he has plans to save social security, something I likely won't have when I retire. He is everything you can want in a candidate. He has integrity and family values in a way no conservative could ever understand. Why? Because he is the multicultural candidate that understands the rest of the world. He understand people aren't the same, don't look the same, and don't act the same. But damn it, we can still all live together peacefully! Barack Obama is the best candidate in the democratic party period.

For the republican nomination, I endorse John McCain. John McCain has shown himself to be strong in his own beliefs. He is willing to cross party lines to do what he thinks is right. He will make decisions about this war that are well thought out and come from personal experience in a bad war. Above all, I trust him to make decisions that he can live with. After all, he has lived as a P.O.W. and understands what these troops are up against. As well, he is a fiscal conservative among fiscal liberals in the republican party. I trust him with my money in a way I don't trust the other candidates. As well, I think he has had enough experience in politics to know what works and what doesn't. He is the real deal and this is his time to lead the republican party.

You may think it odd that I will endorse one from each party. But I am an individualist and neither candidate appeals to me in all areas. They are a hoge poge of beliefs and ideas that I can pick from. In some area's I can't stand them. In others, I love them. Among the two, remain my greatest hopes for our next president. So, for what its worth, these two are my guys. These two are the ones I will vote for when push comes to shove. If one or the other isn't in the general, then I know who to vote for. If both are in the general election, I am going to have some serious thinking to do.

Mike Huckabee - Constitution Killer

"I have opponents in this race who do not want to change the Constitution. But I believe it's a lot easier to change the Constitution than it would be to change the word of the living God. And thats what we need to do is amend the Constitution so it's in God's standards rather than trying to change God's standards so it lines up with some contemporary view of how we treat each other and how we treat the family."

Those were the words spoken Tuesday night in Michigan by Republican Presidential hopeful Mike Huckabee. Words that should ring in the ears of every rationalist in this country. Words that should frighten even the most devout christian. If you are not a christian dominionist, then you should be very afraid. This is the type of man that brings theocratic tyranny to a country. This is a man that brings fascism into our midsts. This is a dangerous man indeed.

Whats really bothering me though is that my mom and dad still seem to like him. They say I'm interpreting it liberally, and that I'm just a liberal and anti-christian so I wouldn't understand. Whats not to understand about a man who says he wants to change the constitution to match gods laws? Whats not clear about that? And what in hell is wrong with blue blooded americans who are embracing this madness? Can they not see their own liberties slipping out of hand? Are they so ignorant that they can't see how this will harm america? Whats next? Why not make constitutional laws against praying to Mary? After all, thats idol worship according to him! Why not outlaw anything not explicitly his brand of christianity? You know he believes speaking in tongues is of the devil? So why not constitutionalize blasphemy laws!? Ooops! There goes your right believe and practice speaking in tongues! But fuck no! As long as they aren't being beaten in the ally, they don't care!

Wait wait my ignorant family! Wait wait my ignorant fellow Americans! You are bring this country down around our ears. It will be a disaster. And the one thing we know about national disasters, is that they effect everyone. If you are to stupid to see it coming, then you deserve what you get. I for one don't deserve it, I see it coming and have been screaming fire for a while. If you don't heed these warnings, blow them off as liberal or whatever else allows you to justify it, then you deserve the oppression you are bring down on us. But as for me, I will fight! I will fight for my liberty until I die!

The Iowa Cause, The Cotton Bowl, and The Danger in voting Republican

First off, a big shout out to the Missouri Tigers who showed Arkansas that they aren't in the same league. Go home little Razorbacks, you may be in the SEC, but that doesn't default you to a good team. The Tigers showed you that you aren't in the same league as them, no matter how good a running back you have. Better luck next year, McFadden is going to be even better next year, and perhaps you will have an offense around him. The Cotton Bowl belongs to Mizzou for the next year.

Now, on to whats REALLY important. The Iowa Caucus is done. And I'm sorry, but so is my desire to profile candidates for both parties. It just doesn't matter, and I will write on specific candidates only when I feel it is necessary. I hope no one was following them closely. LOL

Iowa is over, and they have chosen Barack Obama for the Democratic Party, and Mike Huckabee for the Republican Party. For Barack Obama, this is an awesome victory. I am very surprised that he, not Hillary took the primary. Edwards came in second and Hillary a close third. But it showed that Barack Obama can win, and he can get votes. For him to win the first primary is huge. And it showed that Hillary doesn't have the huge lead she thought she did. The Democratic Party nomination just got interesting.

But for the Republican Party, the nomination just got scary. Why? Because the choices, if it were today, would be between first place Mike Huckabee, a man who would love to rule over a Christocracy, and Mitt Romney, a man who believe in wearing Holy underwear. Ones a Mormon, a group notoriously devout to their faith, and a Baptist preacher, who just happens to be supported by a group of dominionists who believe in a country ruled by a biblical theocracy. Thats the christian version of Muslim Sharia Law.

Either way, its not a great turn for our country to take. In the end, if either of them win, we are stuck with a religiouso that is going to incorporate their beliefs into our government, more extreme that George W. Bush even. Its unfortunate, but I will vote for anyone who runs against these two men. I may even vote for Rudy if it comes down to it. In fact, I think I will likely vote in the republican primary just to vote against Huckabee and Romney. They are dangerous men who need to be stopped.
