There are other writings found that weren't included in the "Christian" Bible, they were written by the apostles, kinda like an interview with Jesus Christ. And Jesus Himself is claiming that this jealous God is not just jealous but ignorant too. He claim that we were created out of ignorance by an ignorant God, but that there is a light within us that came from the God of light, the unmoved mover. The salvation he was talking about is not from hell but from our own ignorance. These can all be found in the Nag Hammadi Library in the book of the "Apocryphon of John" that wasn't included in the Bible.

Although a lot of what is written in the Bible seem ridiculous and should be dismissed, One must take into account that they are merely just a historical observation of a primitive civilization. It's like looking through their eyes about what occurred in those times.

Take an account for example Ezekiel, it seems to me that what he had encountered was actually an alien being in a spaceship, but how can a primitive man explain or describe it? He said that the being is inside this thing that have wheels, and that where ever the being goes, the wheels turn that way, he said that it is shining like fire. How can Esekiel describe a light bulb or a motor vehicle when he has never seen one before? He thought is was a miracle!

If you try to read the Bible again without the notion of God, and consider it as merely an observation of a primitive civilization, you will discover a lot of things!

I really like your article about this jealous and blood thirsty God, I have been wanting to write something like this but I am not a good writer...:-)Boniknikhttp://www.boniknik.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-983178384029229442.post-52889097516167591002009-06-30T17:29:43.002-04:002009-06-30T17:29:43.002-04:00Wow...that was powerful and very well organized. ...Wow...that was powerful and very well organized. I liked reading that. I gave up Christianity in 1995. I think I can see why with your blog here. The people who are Christians are the most war mongering people around. THEY want to emulate their god. They want to slaughter the innocent. I think they avoid feeling guilty with words like "terrorists" and "collateral damage".

Very good. Thanks for writing that out here.Cookie Parkernoreply@blogger.com
